Department Overview
Position Summary
Seeking a clinical social worker (LGSW or LICSW) to support critical social work coverage overnight working primarily in our Emergency Department with the ability to respond to campus-wide needs. Clinical social workers provide trauma-informed care and work from an equity lens to provide support to patients and families facing unexpected admissions, trauma, grief/loss, end-of-life, and basic needs. Primary responsibility to complete crisis mental health assessments and support connection to Children's inpatient mental health unit or alternative safe discharge plan developed in partnership with caregivers. Based in St. Paul with the ability to respond to Minneapolis in person or via telehealth.
