Position Overview
International Procurement is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our New Product Launch Team in a Sourcing and Readiness Consultant role. This is an exciting opportunity to lead sourcing activities for assigned direct material categories, from the initial part release through product launch.
As a key contributor, you will be responsible for achieving critical program objectives related to timing, total cost, and quality by executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier readiness, and overseeing component industrialization from concept through launch.

Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Category Management Team (CMT) and Engineering on New Product Development Programs.
- Develop and execute sourcing decisions that align with International’s business objectives and the CMT strategy.
- Lead negotiations on all cost-related aspects including piece price, tooling, and packaging.
- Participate in program Change Control Board (CCB) meetings to address cost and tooling outliers.
- Prepare and present sourcing nominations strategies, covering all financial aspects to achieve the best Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Resolve Parts without Contract (PUR) issues that impact program timelines and unit line setting.
- Partner with Suppliers and Procurement Program Managers (PPMs) to support all major program build events.
- Develop and manage supplier implementation plans that align with program milestones.
- Evaluate supplier readiness plans to identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular status reports and updates to stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience
- At least 1 years of lead experience

- Master's degree and at least 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience
- At least 1 years of lead experience
OR
- At least 8 years of purchasing/procurement experience
- At least 1 years of lead experience

- Experience applying Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) strategies to optimize product design, reduce costs, and enhance manufacturability.
