Mobile Facilities Technician

As a CBRE Mobile Technician, you will ensure the operational efficiency of critical equipment across 13 hospital facilities within the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, responding to work orders, and engaging directly with clients in a professional capacity. While focused primarily on ice machines, opportunities for exposure to other general maintenance tasks, including minor HVAC and plumbing, may arise. We provide comprehensive training and a company vehicle for your travel within your portfolio. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function.

What You'll Do :

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on ice machines across multiple commercial hospital sites, accounting for the majority of daily tasks.
• Execute around 3-4 ice machine maintenance tasks daily in a highly repetitive and detail-oriented manner.
• Respond promptly to work orders related to general building maintenance.
• Conduct general facilities maintenance tasks as needed, demonstrating versatility.
• Adhere strictly to a pre-determined schedule while managing your route efficiently.
• Work independently and efficiently in various environments.
• Interact professionally and courteously with clients and facility staff at all supported locations.
• Travel extensively throughout the DFW Metroplex, including areas like Fort Worth, Waxahachie, Denton, Plano, Irving, and Grapevine.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
• Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
