Unarmed Security Officers

Unarmed Security Officers needed in Gresham, OR

  • Fill-in / All Shifts - Weekdays & Weekends - $19 / hr

The focus of a security officer at this site is access control and putting the safety of the client and each other first.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • Foot patrol
  • Vehicle patrol
  • Mail delivery
  • Access control
  • Video monitoring
  • Traffic control
  • Pool car fleet upkeep
  • Truck gate logistics
  • Issuing badges
  • Client call offs

    • Qualifications :

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have valid Oregon Private Security Provider License
  • Must have DPSST Certificate for Professional Workplace Training (14 hours)
  • Must have DPSST Training Certificate Refresher 4 hour course
  • One or more years of Security and Supervisory experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers / Guards
  • Possess effective written and oral communication skills to accurately maintain completed logs and reports
  • Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional manner
  • Possess intermediate computer skills
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain
  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain / snow or heat
  • Ability to follow established security protocols, while using initiative and good judgement
