Receptionist Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly receptionist to join our team in Greenbelt, Maryland. This contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication and organizational skills to contribute to a dynamic workplace. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multi-line phone systems and a welcoming demeanor to ensure smooth interactions with clients and visitors.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and operate a multi-line phone system to ensure calls are answered promptly and efficiently.
  • Greet visitors and clients warmly while directing them to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • Handle incoming calls courteously, providing accurate information or transferring calls as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a positive first impression.
  • Assist with basic administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
  • Ensure messages are accurately recorded and delivered to the intended recipients.
  • Collaborate with team members to support office operations and streamline communication.
  • Perform part-time receptionist duties as required, ensuring flexibility and adaptability to business needs.
  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity in interactions with clients and staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall client experience.

Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist or related role.
  • Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle inbound calls with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a part-time capacity with potential for transition to a permanent role.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment and administrative tasks.
