Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence position for our client.

Location : Houston, TX

Duration : 10 months

Duties :

Lead the migration of conversational intents, entities, and dialog flows from IBM Watson Assistant to Google Cloud Dialogflow / CCAI Flow Designer.

Design, develop, and optimize conversational AI models to ensure high accuracy of natural language understanding (NLU) and enhanced user experience.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions with APIs and existing digital / voice platforms.

Conduct testing and validation of migrated intents and flows, ensuring alignment with business requirements and customer expectations.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve AI-driven interactions post-migration for continuous optimization.

Document processes, best practices, and knowledge transfer materials for sustainable AI operations.

Skills :

Hands-on experience with IBM Watson Assistant and Google Cloud Contact Center AI (CCAI), including Flow Designer and Dialogflow.

Strong background in conversational AI design, intent mapping, entity recognition, and dialog flow creation.

Proficiency in Python, R, or other relevant programming languages for AI / ML development.

Experience with API integration, data preprocessing, and machine learning pipelines.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred) and AI / ML services.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

Experience :

Proven experience migrating conversational AI solutions between platforms, specifically Watson Assistant to Google CCAI.

Track record of implementing AI solutions in customer-facing digital or voice channels.

Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams, delivering complex AI projects on time.

Education :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in AI / ML, Google Cloud, or Watson Assistant are a plus.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
