Job Description

We are seeking an intermediate-to-advanced web designer/developer skilled in web design with a solid understanding of user interface and front-end concepts. Responsibilities include:

• Designing and constructing web pages, incorporating the latest GUI features and techniques;
• Maintaining and updating website designs and graphics;
• Exhibiting proficiency in SharePoint operations and administration;
• Following best practices in web design;
• Producing wireframes and mockups, and developing designs using HTML and CSS;
• Performing testing and providing peer feedback;
• Assisting with refactoring legacy ColdFusion code and rewriting it in PHP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field;
• 3-6 years of relevant experience (or 7-10 years of equivalent experience);
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator;
• Experience with server-side programming in ColdFusion and/or PHP;
• Knowledge of web standards, best practices, and trends in technology;
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment;
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming;
• Experience designing standards-compliant websites;
• SharePoint 2010 or above site administration experience;
• Experience with ColdFusion to PHP migration;
• Knowledge of MVC frameworks and version control systems (e.g., Subversion);
• Experience with enterprise Content Management Systems.
