Provides diagnostic cardiac ultrasound services and interprets images for ultrasound procedures. Assists the cardiologist and gathers cardiac data to inform diagnostic decisions.

Education:

* Graduate from an accredited Ultrasonographer Program

* Associates Degree

Education specialization:

* Ultrasound Technology

Experience:

* One year experience in an acute care cardiac cath environment

Credentials:

* Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
* BLS - American Red Cross or American Heart Association
