Job Summary
The Training & DevelopmentSpecialistwillbe responsible forthe development and, in some cases, delivery of job-specific training initiatives to improve operational performance. This position is also responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce. By working closely with management across the organization, this role willidentifyand build,and trackdevelopment plans for high-performing employees.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Work with subject matter experts to develop comprehensive training guidelines and materials tailored to various roles within the manufacturing environment.
Collaborate with managers / executives toidentifytraining needs and prioritize training initiatives.
Coordinate / conduct training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations.
Assistwith the coordination of Talent & Succession efforts across the organization.
Maintain a database of training materials for the organization as well as accurate records of training activities,attendance,and completion of activities.
Manage training documents in the HRIS system
Work closely with our QHES department for purposes of training administration
Assistin the onboarding process for employees,includingparticipatingin Orientation sessions.
Provide coaching and support to employees to reinforce learning andfacilitatedevelopment.

Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s Degreerequired
Experience in a manufacturing environmentstrongly preferred
Previousexperience in training and developmentrequired(2-3 years)
Experience with a multi-state organization

Physical Requirements :
Must be willing to travel to facilities as needed.
Ability to travel between locations to include driving as well as flying
Prolongedperiods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds at times.
