[job_card.job_description]Prior experience as a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis required; preferably from a hotel or hospitality group Prior experience in management Experience working with multi-entity / shared services forecasts / budgets; experience in the hotel / restaurant / hospitality industry a unique plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Excel Word Outlook etc.) Prior experience with a large-scale FPA software (Vena experience highly preferred)
The Director of Finance can see the long-term strategies needed to ensure the property reaches their revenue goals. This individual knows that revenue comes when services levels are met strictly and works with the operations team and other departments to ensure they have everything needed to meet and exceed guest service standards. They take great pride and ownership of the finance responsibilities they have.
Requested Tasks
- Oversee the overall accounting and financial management
- Provide strategic and supported financial insights related to a variety of projects and endeavors
- Prepare and review annual budgets monthly forecasts and financial operations
- Oversee the internal financial system (Vena)
- Manage hire and mentor Financial and Data team
