ServiceNow Developer

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our client based out of Santa Clara. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform to implement Sales and Order Management module. This role requires a strong understanding of both technical and business requirements, ensuring that the solutions meet the needs of our organization. Responsibilities Design and enhance ServiceNow applications by building and customizing workflows, business rules, UI policies, and system integrations to meet business needs. Develop intuitive front-end experiences, utilizing modern web frameworks to deliver user-friendly and responsive interfaces. Write clean, efficient, and secure code, adhering to industry best practices and platform standards. Build and maintain automated tests, including unit and regression tests, to ensure high-quality and stable code deployments. Leverage DevOps tools and methodologies such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, and CI / CD pipelines to streamline and automate development and deployment processes. Review code, provide constructive feedback, and support the growth of junior developers through mentoring and technical guidance. Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and business stakeholders, to transform functional requirements into scalable technical solutions. Proactively monitor and improve application performance, availability, and reliability to ensure seamless user experiences. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and ServiceNow platform updates, actively contributing to continuous improvement and team knowledge sharing. Skills 10+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript) and workflows. Strong knowledge of T-SQL for database management and queries. Understanding of computer networking concepts, including firewall configurations. Familiarity with DevOps practices to enhance deployment processes. Experience with Group Policy Objects (GPO) in Windows environments. Knowledge of continuous integration methodologies to streamline development workflows.
