Machine Operator - Packaging Company - 34439

A packaging manufacturer near the New Haven, KY area is looking for a Machine Operator. You will be responsible for the setup & operation of automated bagging machines. The ideal candidate will have related experience within the packaging manufacturing industry. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation. Must be able to work on-site. Responsibilities : Monitor production schedule (confirm correct bags, labeling, & materials) Confirm details of job orders (specifications & amounts) Start machines – confirm smooth operation – adjust parts if needed Monitor machine parts (report issues to supervisor) Regular PMs on machines & other equipment – utilizing hand tools Conduct production & shift report Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent (certification or associates / technical degree preferred) Must have packaging industry experience Experience operating automated bagging machines is preferred Knowledge of cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) Confident with computer skills Good attention to detail Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
