Salary: Per AGCEP Contract

Report Times: 9:15 to 1:45

Daily Hours: 4.5 Paid

Work Year: Summer

Supervisor: Director of Elementary and Early Childhood Education

Minimum Requirements:

New York State Teaching Assistant or Teacher Certification

Internal applicants only

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in supporting reading and writing instruction;

Strong interpersonal skills;

Strong organizational skills;

Must be flexible, responsible, and dependable;

Good computer knowledge;

Daily attendance is expected.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Welcoming students for arrival;

Supporting students during the reading and writing blocks;

Supporting students on the iReady computer system;

Supporting Lunch and Dismissal - monitoring students within the classroom;

Support with attendance;

Clerical duties;

All other duties as assigned.
