As a vital member of our care team, you will help residents live with dignity, comfort, and joy. You'll bring compassion to every interaction and uphold Broadmead's long-standing tradition of respect and service.

• Provide safe, attentive, and compassionate hands-on care to residents
• Follow all safety precautions, including two-person mechanical lift use
• Document care activities accurately and on time
• Keep resident spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Follow infection control guidelines and Standard Precautions
• Report malfunctioning or hazardous equipment to nursing or maintenance teams
• Maintain knowledge of all Broadmead policies and procedures
• Accurately obtain and record vital signs, intake/output, and weights
• Support AM/PM care following current standards of practice
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ambulation, dressing, bathing, toileting, feeding, etc.)
• Prepare residents for treatments, activities, and appointments
• Observe and share timely, accurate information about resident conditions with the nurse
• Communicate resident needs to support personalized care planning
• Complete rounds every 2 hours and as needed to ensure comfort, positioning, and continence
• Answer call lights promptly and kindly
• Provide fresh ice water each shift
• Assist with admitting, discharging, and transporting residents
• Ensure residents are dressed, ready, and supported for all appointments and programs
• Transport residents safely using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Maintain cleanliness in utility rooms, pantries, and other work areas as assigned
• Follow nursing procedures to help deliver the highest quality of care
• Promote positive internal customer service — supporting teammates and contributing to a collaborative, respectful work environment
