Job Description

As a Security Officer - Chemical Entry Control in Benicia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and deliver exceptional customer service with clear communication. Pay Rate : $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Tue 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Fri 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain site integrity.
  • Verify identification and credentials of personnel and visitors entering the premises, following site-specific protocols.
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents, suspicious activities, or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and identify potential concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by answering questions and offering assistance as needed.
  • Document all security-related activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during incidents to support a coordinated response.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
