East Valley - Weekend Part-time Caregiver

  • Daytime shifts: start at $18.00/hour (above Arizona minimum wage)
• Weekly Pay with direct deposit

• Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (must be obtained prior to client contact; assistance provided if needed)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clear Background Check & Drug Screen
• One Year of Caregiving Experience
• CPR/First Aid Certification (required within 30 days of hire – training provided)
• Negative TB Screening within the past 12 months (required prior to client contact)

• Companionship (reading, talking, games, crafts)
• Light Housekeeping
• Grooming Assistance (dressing, brushing teeth, shaving)
• Medication Reminders (no administration)
• Transportation (appointments, shopping, outings)
• Documentation of Activities (ability to document shift details electronically)
• Hygiene Support (showers, bed baths, toileting)
• Mobility Assistance (safe transfers, lifting 5–35 lbs, walking)
• Meal Prep & Feeding

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and assist with transfers safely.

• At-Will Employment: Employment with Sunland Home Care is at-will and may be terminated by either party at any time, with or without cause or notice, subject to applicable law.
• Non-Medical Care: This position provides non-medical support only. Caregivers do not administer medications or perform skilled nursing tasks.
• Health & Safety: Caregivers must follow infection control protocols and any applicable health safety guidelines.
