Caregiver Requirements- Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (must be obtained prior to client contact; assistance provided if needed)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clear Background Check & Drug Screen
- One Year of Caregiving Experience
- CPR/First Aid Certification (required within 30 days of hire – training provided)
- Negative TB Screening within the past 12 months (required prior to client contact)
Caregiver Responsibilities- Companionship (reading, talking, games, crafts)
- Light Housekeeping
- Grooming Assistance (dressing, brushing teeth, shaving)
- Medication Reminders (no administration)
- Transportation (appointments, shopping, outings)
- Documentation of Activities (ability to document shift details electronically)
- Hygiene Support (showers, bed baths, toileting)
- Mobility Assistance (safe transfers, lifting 5–35 lbs, walking)
- Meal Prep & Feeding

- Overnight Shifts
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and assist with transfers safely.
Important Notices- At-Will Employment: Employment with Sunland Home Care is at-will and may be terminated by either party at any time, with or without cause or notice, subject to applicable law.
- Non-Medical Care: This position provides non-medical support only. Caregivers do not administer medications or perform skilled nursing tasks.
- Health & Safety: Caregivers must follow infection control protocols and any applicable health safety guidelines.
