What Youll Be Responsible For

You will set the vision strategy and execution for Circles platform UX engineering organization ensuring frontend platforms design systems and shared user experience capabilities scale reliably across products. You will lead multiple engineering teams through senior managers and technical leaders balancing long-term platform evolution with near-term delivery. Partnering closely with Product Design Brand Backend Platform Security and Compliance leaders you will deliver cohesive accessible and high-performing user experiences while building strong engineering culture developing leaders and establishing standards that enable teams across Circle to move faster with confidence.

What Youll Work On

Lead day-to-day execution across multiple platform UX engineering teams including planning backlog management agile ceremonies and operating rhythms.

Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for Circles frontend platforms design systems and shared UX capabilities used across products.

Provide hands-on technical leadership on frontend architecture performance accessibility and system design for large-scale user-facing platforms.

Establish and uphold engineering standards for frontend quality reliability performance accessibility and developer experience.

Partner closely with Product Design Brand and Backend Platform teams to deliver cohesive scalable and consistent user experiences.

Attract develop and retain high-performing frontend engineering leaders and teams through hiring coaching mentoring and performance management.

Identify and proactively manage UX platform risks dependencies and technical debt while contributing to engineering-wide initiatives and cross-functional execution.

What Youll Bring to Circle

Core Requirements

15 years of software engineering experience including 8 years in senior technical leadership roles.

Significant experience leading frontend or UX platform engineering organizations in a product-driven environment.

Proven success managing multiple teams through senior managers and technical leaders.

Deep expertise building and scaling frontend platforms design systems and shared UI foundations used across multiple products.

Strong hands-on technical background in modern frontend architectures with the ability to review code guide system design and lead critical technical decisions.

Experience delivering high-quality accessible and high-performing user interfaces at scale including deep knowledge of web performance and accessibility standards.

Ability to balance long-term UX platform strategy with pragmatic execution and delivery.

Experience partnering closely with Product Design and cross-functional leaders to translate user and business needs into shared frontend capabilities.

Passion for coaching developing leaders and enabling teams to do their best work.

Experience leading globally distributed remote-first teams.

Comfort operating in fast-paced environments with high autonomy and responsibility.

Preferred Requirements

Experience building internal developer platforms or shared services used broadly across an organization.

Background working in regulated security-sensitive or compliance-heavy environments.

Experience scaling platforms in high-growth or rapidly evolving companies.

Starting pay is determined by various factors including but not limited to : relevant experience skill set qualifications and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.

Base Pay Range : $282500-$352500
