Job Description

Role Summary: Manages quality assurance processes for software maintenance, operations, and enhancement services. Manages quality assurance analysts across multiple sprint teams. Leads coordination of quality assurance processes with customer stakeholders. Manages quality assurance processes to project timelines. Supervises data collection, status, and reporting related to quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provides supervision to a small or moderately sized team of personnel supporting software maintenance, operations, and enhancement services.
• Administers policies and guidelines that directly affect team’s work activities.
• Manages the tracking, data collection, trend analysis, and status reporting of quality assurance activities performed by project teams.
• Establishes deadlines for completing assignments.
• Coordinates deadlines with project schedules, deadlines of other teams, and availability of client stakeholders.
• Supervises team will generally perform multiple tasks and possess a variety of skills and/or knowledge.
• Sets direction and leads deployment of processes and best practice implementations.
• Provides quality management consulting to clients.
• Conducts process trainings at management level.
• Evaluates key process improvements at organization level.
• Studies, analyzes, and deploys organization-wide tools and processes, including data collection, trending, tracking, and automation.
• Reviews process training courseware and oversees improvements.
• Keeps abreast of the latest trends in the relevant process area, Quality & Process Models, various tools, and other global developments in industry.
• Monitors improvements in quality and productivity.

Required Skills

• > 6 years of state level health and human services projects experience, with > 3 years of this experience in management required
• Advanced knowledge of any two Quality Assurance Models (ISO 9001, 20000, 27001, CMMI, PCMM, Six Sigma techniques).

Preferred Skills

• Undergraduate degree or higher preferred
• Quality assurance certifications preferred

Project management (e.g., PMI) certification preferred
