CAD Designer

We’re looking for an experienced CAD Designer with strong SolidWorks skills to support product development and design engineering. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex design challenges, building detailed 3D models, and working closely with engineering teams to bring ideas to life.

What You’ll Do

• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks and 3DExperience (3DX)
• Manage and maintain design data within PDM/PLM systems
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to refine and improve product designs
• Ensure all drawings and models comply with industry standards and internal guidelines
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, wiring diagrams, and documentation
• Set up and support CFD simulations in ANSYS to validate design concepts (preferred)
• Stay current on SolidWorks, ANSYS, and industry best practices
• Assist in design reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in CAD design or a similar engineering design role
• Advanced SolidWorks expertise: 3D modeling, drafting, simulation, and data management
• Experience with PDM/PLM platforms (3DX experience is a plus)
• Strong understanding of general engineering principles and manufacturing processes
• Experience with other CAD tools (Creo, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus
• Proficiency with ANSYS CFD setup is strongly preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Experience creating photorealistic renderings is a plus
