Sr. Network Security Engineer

We have a great new role in the financial sector for an information security professional with a strong IT Network and Infrastructure background preferably in Microsoft technology. This role will be responsible for the IAM strategy and tools along with SEIM/SOAR strategy. This role is a Hybrid environment with 3 days home and 2 days / week in the office in Murfreesboro, TN. Salary depends on experience, a qualified candidate based on requirements below would be eligible for 115-120k base salary plus bonus and benefits.

This person has a strong LAN / WAN Network and Infrastructure background in Microsoft Technologies. They have also been responsible for the Security audits, assessments, design, and implementation of tools, controls, and procedures to maintain financial systems integrity. Experience in the Financial Industry, preferably banking is a must have. This person will have extensive IAM / SEIM / SOAR tools and experience with preferably Palo Alto Firewalls and XSOAR for security mgmt. CISSP or CISM is preferred and should be proficient in building test scripts to Validate MSSP and other third party software and systems are running properly and capabilities are as stated.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related equivalent
• Network and Infrastructure mgmt. LAN / WAN professional experience for 3+ years of day to day operation and security concerns, preferably in Financial Industry.
• Extensive IAM design and implementation experience
• Extensive SEIM/SOAR experience
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Palo Alto XSOAR for security mgmt.
• Financial Systems IT experience with standards development and implementation such as PCI DSS or NCUA
• Responsible for Security management of network and infrastructure equipment in a Microsoft environment. Able to Architect, Develop, and implement security controls and procedures.

Prefer:

• CISSP or CISM certification
• Verify, audit, and develop test scripts to validate MSSP and third party systems to be working.
