Assembler Positions

ETC is seeking new team members for Assembler positions in the Manufacturing department in Austin facility. Positions involve assembling parts to print and quality specifications, maintaining a clean and safe work area, completing labor reporting paperwork, and learning new tasks and assemblies.

Candidates should have a positive attitude, good manual dexterity, the ability to use hand and power tools, follow assembly drawings, sit or stand for an extended time period, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Representative responsibilities include : building assemblies to quality standards and print specifications, maintaining expected productivity output levels and completing assignments as scheduled, setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery as needed, completing labor reporting paperwork daily, e.g. daily time sheets, following ISO procedures, e.g., ECRs and NCMRs, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring after task is completed, floor is swept and tools are returned to designated area, adhering to safety standards at all times, following safety and quality protocol, abiding by safety procedures, work practice controls, and OSHA guidelines (wearing protective equipment when required), learning new tasks, procedures and assemblies as needed, listening to, understanding and following instructions while learning new assignments, recognizing unusual circumstances and asking questions when necessary, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include : HS diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred, good manual dexterity, able to operate hand tools and small power tools, able to follow simple assembly drawings, able to work independently and as part of a team, able to lift up to 50 pounds, able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, proven ability to understand and follow directions, and basic English skills to understand quality, safety, work instructions, personnel information, etc.
