Responsibilities

• The Patient Transporter is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients within the healthcare facility.
• This includes moving patients to and from various departments such as radiology, surgery, and patient rooms while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• The transporter also assists with equipment transport and maintains communication with nursing staff to facilitate seamless patient care.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent if 18 or older

• Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross within 30 days of hire

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting
