[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation skills when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for unusual or suspicious activity, maintaining a visible presence. Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and / or customers, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed. Document observations, incidents, and / or activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements. Support access control measures by verifying identification and assisting with visitor management protocols. Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate potential security-related concerns to appropriate personnel. At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required. An armed guard card or license is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
