Job Description :

  • Woot is looking for a Software Development Engineer to continue our modernization efforts. This role will help us move our aging .NET code over to AWS tools and services.
  • You will need to have solid exposure to AWS tools such as Lambda, SQS, S3 and API Gateway and it will be beneficial to understand the .NET and SQL code being replaced while being proficient our target language Typescript.
  • Job responsibilities include working with our customers to understand their needs (not just porting code), writing code to meet them using and helping us as needed with improving our operational foundations.

Qualifications :

Preferred coding skills :

  • .NET, SQL and Typescript / Javascript.
  • Systems and data management skills such as CI / CD, PySpark, ETL / ELT orchestration, Airflow, Python are highly desireable.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
