Credentialing Specialist

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist who will coordinate the credentialing and re-credentialing functions for medical staff and advanced practice providers.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements

Conduct and maintain credentialing and privileging for physicians and advanced practice providers

Perform primary source verification and manage data integrity in the credentialing database

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with 3 years of relevant work experience

Experience with MD Staff software is helpful

Ability to work independently and handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Ability to maintain confidentiality and use tact and discretion
