Health Clerk
The Health Clerk provides essential clerical and coordination support to the Perioperative Services team, serving as a central point of contact for patients, providers, and surgical staff. Responsibilities include scheduling same-day and on-call surgeries, managing patient records, entering orders, coordinating with medical offices and vendors, and ensuring timely, accurate communication across care teams. This role is critical to maintaining operational flow and delivering high-quality patient care on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate real-time surgical case scheduling and on-call procedures
- Enter patient orders and documentation into hospital systems
- Manage chart assembly, order verification, and communication with provider offices
- Liaise with clinical teams and industry representatives to support patient care
- Support front-line communication and customer service activities
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Previous clerical or healthcare support experience beneficial
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
