We are looking for an upbeat, high-energy, friendly, enthusiastic, intelligent, and hard-working Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about patient care, loves educating patients about oral health, and thrives in a positive and team-oriented environment.

We want someone who can provide a five-star patient experience while delivering excellent clinical care. If you love working with people and want to be part of a dynamic, patient-centered practice, we’d love to meet you! The we have both part time and full time position available. We have amazing working hours that from 6:45 am until 3:00 pm Monday to Thursday (great for avoiding metro area rush hour). We are off on Fridays (every week is a long weekend!). Pay rate is negatable with a range between $65.00/hr - $75.00/hr based on experience.

Here are some of the key responsibilities of this role:

• Provide exceptional patient care (A MUST!!)
• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
• Review patient medical history and communicate findings with the dentist
• Assist in diagnosing and co-planning treatment with the dentist
• Ensure patients are comfortable and feel at ease throughout their visit
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment following OSHA guidelines
• Maintain hygiene schedule efficiency and help coordinate patient flow
• Collaborate with the front desk team to assist with scheduling and patient follow-ups
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, continuing education, and best practices

What we are looking for:

• Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Virginia (Required)
• 2+ years of experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply!
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, team-player attitude with strong work ethic
• Ability to connect with patients and make them feel comfortable
• Passion for patient education and preventive care
• Knowledge of dental software (training provided if needed)
