Their portfolio includes major heavy highway , mass transit , tunnel , and airport infrastructure projects, often in partnership with key city agencies such as MTA , LIRR , and NYCDDC .

Your new role

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to oversee utility and site development operations on high-profile civil infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep expertise in underground utility work and a strong command of NYC agency standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on field supervision
• Proven track record managing utility installations (storm / wastewater sewer, water mains) & have previously worked with the MTA / LIRR.
• Familiarity with SOE systems, dewatering, and coordination with private utilities
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors across complex job sites
• Proficiency in layout, inspections, material procurement, and quality control
• Valid driver’s license and solid computer literacy
