We're seeking the right candidate for the position of LPN Floor Nurse at Old Brownlee Community Care Center. In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.

What You Bring to the Table:

Essential Qualifications:

• Evaluates the physical, emotional, and social needs of the residents.
• Reviews residents care plans, assures plans are followed and documents resident medical records.
• Supervises care provided by the Nursing Assistants assigned to the unit, providing intervention, education, and assignment adjustments.
• Prepares and administers medication and treatments.
• Consults with physicians.
• Receives and records orders as required.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

• Current Louisiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Current/active CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Other Qualifications

Must possess the following skills:

• Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
• Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
