The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Buyer Sourcing Specialist to manage new product requests, ad hoc sourcing needs, and cost-saving initiatives across a wide range of commodities. This role works closely with both new and existing suppliers to identify purchasing solutions that drive functional improvements, reduce costs, and improve lead times while supporting a high level of customer service. What You’ll Do Strategically source products and suppliers to support open customer and internal enquiries Partner with sales teams to answer technical product questions and identify effective solutions for customers Ensure timely turnaround on all customer enquiries to support an exceptional customer experience Negotiate pricing, contracts, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers Identify and execute opportunities to reduce sourcing costs and expand product offerings Conduct regular market analysis and spend reviews to drive cost savings and supplier performance improvements Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions Partner with internal stakeholders to support business growth and maximize sourcing opportunities Manage tender enquiries and contract negotiations Build deep knowledge of product offerings, supplier capabilities, competitive landscape, and customer applications Contribute as part of a collaborative, experienced team to achieve company objectives Must-Haves Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and 4+ years of relevant experience Background in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing Proven experience in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and selection Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify effective sourcing solutions Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent organizational and administrative skills Ability to absorb and apply technical product information Strong negotiation, decision-making, and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP ERP experience highly desirable Flexible, proactive mindset with the ability to think strategically Experience sourcing industrial supplies, MRO parts, critical spares, or electrical components Experience managing tenders and complex supplier contracts Exposure to regulated or high-reliability environments What’s In It for You Opportunity to make a measurable impact through strategic sourcing and cost-saving initiatives Work with a diverse supplier base across technical and industrial product categories Collaborative, experienced team environment Long-term growth potential within a stable, well-established organization
