JOB SUMMARY :

Under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Chief Radiologist, technologists are responsible for the care and safety of patient's radiographic procedures; use of radiographic equipment; maintaining records; assuring appropriate supplies.

DEPT SCOPE OF SERVICE :

The Department of Radiology at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is a consultative service that will provide services in the following categories : diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, computed tomography, interventional radiography, MRI, bone density and mammography. The department offers services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to inpatients, outpatients and emergency room patients of all ages. Whereas x-ray procedures constitute the majority of our service, we also provide related quality control (including protecting patients and staff from harmful radiation), quality assurance monitoring and evaluation, marketing and continuing education of staff and patients. Radiology is comprises of licensed technologists, certified and licensed nuclear medicine technologists, secretarial staff and licensed radiologists.

The listed range represents the pay scale reasonably expected for a successful candidate based on factors such as relevant experience, education, internal equity, and market competitiveness. Final compensation will be determined during the hiring process.
