LCSW, LPC, LMFT - Utilization Review - Arizona

Join Optum/UnitedHealth Group to support behavioral health and substance abuse case management through utilization reviews and care coordination. While not a member facing role, you'll help ensure they receive the right level of care at the right time. This is a fully remote position with a Monday-Friday schedule during standard business hours. There may be a need for occasional weekend or holiday on call availability based on business need.

What You'll Do:

• Review behavioral health and substance use cases
• Determine appropriate levels of care
• Coordinate transitions between inpatient and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with providers and community resources

Requirements:

• Experience with utilization review as a primary job function
• Master's degree in behavioral health or related field
• Active independent AZ license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC)
• 2+ years of behavioral health experience
• AZ residency and reliable internet

Preferred Experience:

• Working with dual diagnosis (SUD and behavioral health)
• Medicaid/Medicare populations and/or community mental health
• Experience with benefit coordination
