Summary : To oversee and support the daily activities of the Mechanics, I&E Department and Maintenance Group. Ensure Preventative Maintenance is completed in a timely manner. Work with director and managers to manage maintenance budgetary items as well as build job scope for future projects. Manage financial obligations for these departments. Also working to schedule and maintain yearly maintenance work for area. Work to establish and maintain a culture of proactive maintenance, analyzing metrics to maximize runtime and efficient operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Plans, organizes, and supervises the maintenance work including Mechanics and I&E Techs.
• Develops standards and guidelines for staff requirements.
• Evaluates, trains, and develops staff.
• Initiates implementation and oversees financial requirements, safety and productivity for direct reports.
• Prepares and supports required AFEs for maintenance and capital projects.
• Ensures safety, cost reduction, and productivity remain priorities in completing work assignments.
• Maintains liaison and coordinates work with other departmental sections and divisions as well as with public and private organizations.
• Accountable for district regulatory, safety, and budgetary requirements.
