Contract Java Developer – Claims Systems (Remote | EST)

NO C2C

We are partnering with a large, well-established insurance organization on a Claims system replacement initiative and are seeking a Contract Java Developer to support this effort.

This role will focus on developing and enhancing Java-based applications within an enterprise claims environment. The client utilizes Guidewire as part of their core insurance platform, and prior exposure to Guidewire (especially ClaimsCenter) is a plus.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, enhance, and support Java-based components for a claims system modernization project
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a distributed, agile environment
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities

Qualifications :

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java development
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications or system replacement projects
  • Insurance industry experience preferred
  • Guidewire experience a plus
  • Ability to work remotely during U.S. Eastern Time (EST) business hours
