Salary : 90K-95K
The Clinical Director oversees all clinical operations and ensures the delivery of high-quality, ethical ABA services. This role provides leadership, supervision, and mentorship to BCBAs, program supervisors, and RBTs. The Clinical Director drives operational excellence, staff retention, billing optimization, and systematic processes to support growth and maintain full client capacity.
REPORTING STRUCTURE :
Reports directly to CEO. Oversees all clinical operations, staff supervision, compliance, and quality assurance. Collaborates with CEO and operational team on performance management, staffing, and strategic initiatives.
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
Clinical Leadership & Operations
- Oversee daily clinical operations ensuring high-quality ABA service delivery across all clients and staff.
- Develop and implement comprehensive policies, SOPs, and systematic processes to support operational consistency, compliance, and scalability.
- Oversee staff scheduling operations and ensure appropriate coverage and efficient use of clinical hours.
- Coordinate with administrative staff on facility needs, inventory, and safety.
Program Oversight & Clinical Excellence
Maintain a small active caseload while building the clinical team, with direct client responsibilities decreasing as additional BCBAs are hired and clinic reaches full capacity.Provide clinical support and consultation to BCBAs and program supervisors on complex cases.Review and approve treatment plans, assessments, and BIPs to ensure compliance with BACB and payer standards.Oversee clinical data systems and ensure all therapy programs are implemented with fidelity.Staff Supervision & Development
Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to BCBAs, program supervisors, and RBTs.Conduct ongoing supervision sessions to ensure compliance with BACB supervision standards.Deliver feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development plans.Lead training and competency assessments for new hires.Address performance concerns and model professionalism in all staff interactions.Family Experience & Compliance
Serve as clinical point of contact for families and conduct family onboarding meetings.Maintain documentation accuracy and conduct regular audits to ensure BACB compliance.Partner with CEO on compliance reviews, corrective action plans, and clinical performance metrics.QUALIFICATIONS :
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field.Current, active BCBA certification in good standing.Must be currently credentialed in Illinois with major insurance funders and Medicaid (IMPACT).Minimum 3-5 years of clinical and supervisory experience in ABA therapy.Experience with Medicaid billing and compliance (multi-site or multi-team experience preferred).Experience using clinical data platforms (Rethink Behavioral Health or similar preferred).Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS :
Salary : $90,000-$95,000 annually based on experience
