Daikin Applied is seeking an Aftermarket Parts Solutions Materials Manager who will provide strategic oversight to material management inventory planning for Parts Stores. Drive strategic planning and agile management practices that are critical for optimizing inventory systems, enhancing operational efficiency, and boosting customer satisfaction. What You Will Do :
Strategic Inventory Planning :
- Collaborate with Store Managers to develop and maintain an optimal product mix for stores
- Lead forecasting efforts to tailor product offerings using evolving market demands and KPIs to stock new stores
Materials Management :
Own the Materials Management Scorecard, tracking KPIs such as Inventory Turnover, Average Days to Sell, Stockout Rate, and Back Order RateManage the purchase order process, including external sourcing and intercompany transfersOversee regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts as requiredEnsure accurate inventory adjustments supporting store inventory requestsSupplier and Distribution Oversight :
Maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to enhance returns processesEnforce supplier standards for distribution, analyzing trends to continuously improve supplier performanceManage Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory processes across all sitesEnsure accurate setup and inventory pulling for kits, managing First-In-First-Out (FIFO) strategies effectivelyAnalytics and Continuous Improvement :
Monitor all system material issues, taking corrective actions as neededPartner with the finance department to manage annual cycle count strategies and inventory rebalancingUtilize inventory analysis to drive decisions based on SKU family and classificationsLeadership and Collaboration :
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, including finance, operations, and store management teams, to ensure alignment and clear communication of materials management strategiesPromote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team feedback, innovating processes, and conducting regular reviewsWhat's In It For You :

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field4 to 6 years of experience and 5 of them having experience with Inventory Control, Materials Management, Operations, Aftermarket Parts, HVAC Field SupportStrong analytical skills and proficiency with inventory management software and systemsExcellent leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teamsWork visa sponsorship is not available for this positionPreferred Qualifications :
6-8 years of experience with Inventory Control, Materials Management, Operations, Aftermarket Parts, HVAC Field SupportRelevant certification (eg APICS CSCP) is a plusMicrosoft Technologies, Data Analytics (Advanced Excel, Power BI, etc)Project Management ExperienceBenefits :
