Program AssistantSummary :

The Program Assistantis responsible forproviding support to the Manager Eligibility Operations through various administrative and clerical duties and will provide support to various programs and projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Provides support to the Manager Eligibility Operations
  • Assistsin 211 and Weatherization programs and projects
  • Verifies organizesapplicationsandassistsin approvals and denials
  • Communicatesbetween Weatherization Program participants
  • Communicatesbetween 211 Financial Assistance program participants
  • Attendsstaff meetings andtakesnotes
  • Makescopies and updatesparticipant and program files as needed
  • Assistswith inbound calls when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Required Skills and Abilities :

  • Ability tomaintainconfidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook WordExceland PowerPoint

  • Must be able to execute andaccomplishimmediate deliverables on short notice.
  • Must be highly organizedresponsiveand be able to handle multiple deliverables at the same time.
  • Must be a great teammate that cares deeply about the overall success of UWM.

    • Education and Experience :

  • Associatesdegreein a business-related field or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • 2-4years ofrelated experience

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.
  • Reasonableaccommodationsmay be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
