[job_card.job_description]Prepare patients by explaining procedures and obtaining relevant medical history Conduct CT scans manually to capture precise diagnostic images Administer intravenous contrast media using power injectors and monitor patients for any reactions Assist Radiologists with complex procedures such as biopsies Maintain inventory of procedural supplies and ensure sterile environment when necessary Use radiation protection principles, including dose reduction techniques, to ensure patient safety Manage image quality and proper data indexing within PACS and Radiology Information Systems Collaborate with Radiologists to confirm clinical protocols prior to scans Document procedures thoroughly in medical records and imaging systems Demonstrate professionalism, clear communication, and a positive attitude consistent with team standards Proven experience as a CT Technologist with expertise in imaging and contrast administration Understanding of radiation safety and patient care during imaging Ability to follow complex clinical protocols and perform sterile procedures Proficiency with PACS and Radiology Information Systems Strong communication skills and attention to detail
A healthcare role is available for a professional skilled in computerized tomography (CT) technology. This contract opportunity involves specialized imaging procedures to support diagnostic radiology services at a well-established medical system located in Dexter, MI. The position requires a dedicated CT technologist capable of performing and assisting with advanced imaging techniques and patient care.
Schedule :
- Monday to Friday, third shift (approximately 6 : 00 PM to 6 : 30 AM)
- One weekend per month, on a rotation basis (every 4th weekend)
- No call responsibilities
- Block scheduling available, including weekends
