Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the current school year at a middle or high school level, focusing on an inclusion classroom setting. This contract role requires a dedicated professional to support students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive environment, fostering academic growth and social development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with disabilities within a general education setting.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies to meet evolving needs.
- Support students' social and emotional development through positive behavioral interventions.
- municate regularly with families and school staff to ensure a cohesive support system.
- Participate in IEP meetings and other professional development activities.
Qualifications :
