[job_card.job_description]Assist the surgical team by preparing and maintaining instruments, supplies, and sterile fields for ophthalmic procedures Anticipate surgeon needs and support efficient workflow during procedures and room turnover Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique, safety standards, and infection control practices Support equipment maintenance, instrument decontamination, and proper OR stocking Communicate clearly with the circulating nurse and surgical team to ensure smooth, safe procedures High school diploma with specialized OR training preferred Experience in a surgical or operating room preferred but not required Knowledge of sterile technique, infection control, and surgical procedures Ability to multitask, follow detailed instructions, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset BLS certification required (training provided and paid for by EANM) PTO & 8 paid holidays (including the day after Thanksgiving & Christmas Eve!)
