The Business School brings together a world-class faculty top-notch students and influential business partners. With classes offered during the day in the evening and online the Business School is the largest graduate school of business in the region and the first choice of business professionals; undergraduate business programs are recently revised and rapidly growing.

Instructor of Information Systems

What you will do :

A successful candidate hired at the Instructor level can expect a 70% teaching work distribution (7 courses annually) 10% service and 20% research / scholarship. The instructor role has research / scholarship responsibilities that may consist of publications in practitioner journals documented professional education experiences or participation in professional conferences.

Successful candidates will be an integral part of programs and instruction for the Information Systems area. They should feel comfortable teaching undergraduate and graduate students (BSBA with Information Systems Major MBA or MS Information Systems). Candidates may be tasked with teaching and / or developing courses related to some of the following topics Artificial Intelligence Cybersecurity programming languages such as JavaScript and Python Database Management Systems Business Intelligence Data Mining and Information Technology Management and Information Systems Strategy.

Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

A Ph.D. or DBA in Information Systems Computer Science Data Science or a terminal degree in a field closely related to Information Systems from an accredited (or equivalent) university or

Serving as a tutor grader periodic guest lecturer or similar roles do not meet the experience requirement.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
