Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
- Develop and implement new manufacturing processes for custom products and prototypes
- Design and conduct experiments to test and validate process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product design, quality control, and production, to ensure seamless integration of new processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising product quality
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in manufacturing
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects
- Analyze production data and generate reports to support decision-making and process optimization
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to improve raw material quality and streamline supply chain processes
- Assist in the selection and implementation of new manufacturing equipment and technologies
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environmentStrong proficiency in manufacturing processesIn-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen)Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) softwareFamiliarity with statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE) techniquesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutionsStrong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
