Job also involves database security, capacity planning, backup and recovery strategies, and performance optimizationnbsp; DBAs will collaborate with development teams to optimize DB2 queries and database code.Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Skills-DB2, zOS, REXX, backup, and recovery In-depth Mainframe DB2 DBA (DB2 on Z/OS) knowledge. In-depth working knowledge of JCL and ISPF. Experience with DB2 Utilities including IBM and BMC. Working knowledge of BMC tools including change manager, catalog manager, Mainview, and SQL performance. Solid understanding of DB2 recovery options. Broad understanding of ACF2 and RACF2 managed security for DB2 Access. Working knowledge of Endevor and JIRA. Managing and maintaining mainframe DB2 database environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
