Dispatch Coordinator

Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Dispatch Coordinator in Honolulu, HI to manage daily technician schedules and coordinate service calls for commercial refrigeration and HVAC operations.

Impact
- Ensure efficient deployment of service resources across Oahu and neighbor islands
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through timely service response and clear communication
- Support revenue generation by optimizing technician utilization
- Keep operations running smoothly with accurate schedule coordination

Responsibilities
- Manage daily schedules for service technicians across the Hawaiian islands
- Receive and process incoming service calls from commercial customers
- Dispatch technicians based on location, skills, and service priority
- Maintain accurate customer database with updated contact and service history information
- Communicate lead times and schedule updates to customers and internal teams
- Coordinate emergency service calls and prioritize urgent refrigeration issues
- Track technician progress and adjust schedules throughout the day
- Generate dispatch reports and monitor performance metrics

Requirements
Must-Haves
- 2+ years of dispatch or customer service experience, preferably in HVAC or field services
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills with professional phone manner
- Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure and handle competing priorities

Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Experience with GPS routing and field service management software
- Bilingual capabilities
- Background in service coordination or customer support
