Job Description:

• Must be a current AdventHealth University Student **Must provide class schedule

• Prepares, sets up, breaks down, and cleans up for all nursing lab activities.

• Maintains laboratory equipment to ensure items are in good working condition and optimally calibrated.

• Stores, receives, and stocks equipment and supplies, assisting with lab inventory.

• Organizes and maintains clean and safe laboratory and storeroom environments.

• Ensures equipment is properly signed out and returned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of the nursing concepts, terminology, and techniques. [Required]
• Knowledge and understanding of student, and faculty requirements for nursing lab procedures, skills, and safety. [Required]
• Excellent organizational skills with student and faculty- oriented skills. [Required]
• Excellent marketing skills with potential students visiting the Nursing Lab. [Required]
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and collaboration skills. [Required]

Education:
• High School Grad or Equiv must be enrolled at adventhealth university in undergraduate nursing program (bsn or asn) [Required]
• High School Grad or Equiv must have completed first trimester as a nursing student at ahu [Required]

Field of Study:
• Must be a second year Nursing student at AHU.

Work Experience:
• N/A

Additional Information:
Must be in good academic standing [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

$17.63 - $28.20
