Medical Assistant – Contract to Hire Location: Seattle, WA 98107 Schedule: 4-5 days/week Dress Code: Scrubs (any solid color); scrub jackets acceptable About the Role We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Care Services, Clinical team. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care through in-person, phone, and electronic interactions. Collect and document patient information, including vital signs, chief complaints, medication reviews, allergies, and health risk screenings. Assist physicians and nurses with procedures such as injections and EKGs. Coordinate patient care per clinician direction and company standards. Maintain accurate EMR and paper documentation for all assessments and procedures. Prepare and clean patient rooms, set up instruments, and ensure infection control protocols are followed. Support administrative tasks, phone calls, and message documentation. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Experience: Previous healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant (primary care preferred). Certification: Medical Assisting Registration or Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program. Skills: Positive attitude, proactive approach, strong teamwork, and excellent attendance record.
