Desktop Testing Analyst/Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Desktop Testing Analyst/Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Test products to accomplish business outcomes, with a focus on the user experience related to desktop applications Subject matter expert on testing practices, ensure that products are tested to meet functional and other requirements Execute both manual and automated tests, record and communicate test results and assist with triaging defects Ensure regression tests are maintained and well designed Requirements: 5 years of software deployment and desktop testing experience Experience in desktop application testing or software deployment/software packaging Strong knowledge of test management tools such as Microsoft Intune and Jira Technically proficient with knowledge of desktop environment (hardware, software, Windows operating systems, registry, command line, and network connectivity) Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, Outlook, SharePoint, and Visio Desired skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to effectively interact across all levels of the organization Ability to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision Self-starter, able to exercise independent judgment Passion for bringing new ideas to the team with a focus on improving testing practice and driving innovation Detailed-oriented, observant, persistent, proactive, and organized Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
