Civil Litigation / Insurance Defense Attorney (1+ Years Experience)

A respected civil litigation and insurance defense firm in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1+ year of experience to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build strong litigation skills while working alongside experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Handle a variety of civil litigation and insurance defense matters
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
Conduct depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials
Analyze case strategy and provide legal recommendations
Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
Manage files efficiently while meeting deadlines and billing requirements
Qualifications
1+ year of civil litigation and/or insurance defense experience
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions preferred
