Electronic Assembler

Assemble electronic equipment by installing and electronic components, circuits, and electronic devices.

Duties :

• Prepare wires for assembly. Cutting wire to length, stripping insulation, and tinning the ends.
• Cutting shrink wrap tubing to length.
• Soldering wires and assemblies.
• Performing post assembly electrical test.
• Mixing epoxy and gluing covers to assembled product.
• Organizes work by receiving work requests.
• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock.
• Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
