Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Location- San Jose, CA

• Job Tasks and Responsibilities :
• Take X-ray pictures using portable machines (called DR or CR) and send them to a doctor (Radiologist) to look at.
• Carry the portable X-ray machine into places to do the exams that the doctor orders. Make sure the X-ray pictures are clear and useful for diagnosis.
• Do EKG tests when needed and send them to a heart doctor (Cardiologist) to check.
• Every day, scan and upload papers related to the exams and billing following the rules.
• Keep in touch with the dispatch and management team regularly.
• Talk clearly and work well with team members, supervisors, and clients.
• Take care of the vehicle and the X-ray equipment.
• Qualifications :
• Keep your state licenses and / or ARRT Certification up to date, including health and other requirements.
• Have a valid driver’s license in the state where you work, and it should always be in good standing.
• Certification Requirements :
• ARRT Certification is needed.
• State License Requirements :
• Must have a California state license.
• Additional License Requirements :
• Limited licenses are not accepted.
